Question: What is your fax number?

Answer dial our toll free number and the system will recognize it as a fax and e-mail it to us.  Our toll free number is 1-877-647-7326. 


Question: I cannot sent my entries via UPS (FedEx, etc.) to a post office box. What is your physical office address?

Answer: 4413 Eck Road, Jonesville, NC 28642


Question: Should I round up or down when averaging ages for duets, trios and groups?

Answer: Simply drop the decimal point and any numbers that follow when averaging (thereby rounding down). For example: The average age of your group comes out to be 12.8. Drop the decimal point (.8) and your group falls in the 10-12 age division. Remember that group ages are as of January 1st, however out of fairness Solos, Duet, & Trios are the day of the competition.


Question: What is the competition entry deadline?

Answer: Entries must be RECEIVED with payment in full no later than 21 days prior to the first day of competition. However, entries are accepted on a “first come, first served” basis and may be limited due to available performance time. Some events may close early as we do limit competition size. You are encouraged to send your entries in as early as possible. Note also that entries are not considered “received” until paid in full.


Question: Do you accept credit card payments?

Answer: NO we do not accept Credit Cards for competition entires.  We accept studio checks, money orders, and bank checks. 

Question: How many Acrobatic/Gymnastic Tricks do you allow in routines?

Answer: We allow up to 5 in any category, expect for those that note that no acrobatic or gymnastic tricks are allowed. You will find this on the Category Rules with our Regional Info.


Question: Will I be able to video of my child’s performance?

Answer: NO. Video taping of any kind by spectaotrs is strictly prohibited. This rule has been established at the request of our studio directors and teachers to protect their rights in choreography.  We do allow each studio to have one camera and they may video their routines only.


Question: Do you send out labels to be applied to music prior to competition?

Answer: NO, as most studios have their own labels now.  We do ask that you include studio name, routine name, and competition number on your music.


Question: Can I enter Photogenic at the Door?

Answer: YES, we do accept Photogenic Entries on-site, however they do need to be turned in prior to the group division, as Photogenic Awards are announced during the group awards. However payment must be in the form of cash or certified funds, we do not accept business or personal checks for entries on the day of a competition.


Question: When and where do I turn in my photo(s) for the photogenic contest?

Answer: Bring the photo(s) with you the day of the event (DO NOT MAIL). Turn them in at the merchandise table before the group division begins (the awards are included with group awards) . Remember, the photogenic contest is for individuals only (one person per photo).


Question: Is there a time limit for setting up props?

Answer: YES. Production props must be in place within 2 minutes of the time the prior act has cleared the state. Props for all other solo, duet/trio, or group acts must be in place within 1 minute. Hint: If the use of power tools are necessary on stage to set up your prop, you should probably reconsider.


Question: If a soloist is entered to be considered for an America’s Mister & Miss Dance Semi-Finalist and they are selected but can not attend nationals are they eligible the following year.

Answer: We reserve the right to not allow them to be selected the following year, this is not to be mean or difficult, but we have a specific number of spaces at our national competition and it is very clear on the entry form and in the rules not to enter unless you plan to compete at the national competition.  It is an honor and a priviledge to be selected to particiapte in the national titles program.
