NATIONALS #1 June 18-22 Supply, NC

NATIONAL PHOTOGENIC:  Bring a recent 5 x 7 or 8 x 10 in black & white or color photo to the competition.  Please write your name, age, and studio on the back of the photo.  Photos will be returned at the competition, but contestants are responsible for retaining their photo on that day from the Merchandise Table if they do not collect it on stage during the awards.  Dance Machine is not responsible for any damages to the photograph submitted.  You must enter photogenic for the national competition at the Merchandise Table.   You do not have to be a registered competitor to enter the photogenic category, but you must be affiliated with a registered studio.  DO NOT SEND PICTURES OR MONEY FOR PHOTOGENIC ENTRIES- you must enter at the competition.   There is a $50.00 fee per photo entered in the photogenic competition.  Each photogenic entry will be awarded a national trophy and receive a rating.  Overall, Photogenic Awards will be based on the number of entries submitted in each age division. Final & Top Score Photogenic Awards will be presented during the Group Awards.  

NATIONAL PHOTOGENIC TOP SCORE AWARDS: 6 & Under, 7-8 at Tiny & Mini Group Awards, 9-10 at Petite Group Awards, 11-12 at Junior Group Awards 13-14 at Teen Group Awards, 15-16, 17 & up at Senior Group Awards   **If a soloist who is not in groups wishes to enter photogenic they need to let them know at the Merchandise Table when entering that they are not in Groups, so their Photogenic can be scored and awarded in their solo session.  If they allow us to keep their photo they can stay in the running for the National Photogenic Champion, they do not have to present at the Group Session to win that Award, however we do not want to leave out those dancers who may only be in groups from having a chance at winning the national photogenic awards.
